APW - Waltham, Vanguard with winding indicator, Model 1892, 23J, 18S, gold-filled OF recase, white enamel quadruple-sunk dial, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, diamond endstone, jeweled barrel, checkerboard center pattern nickel damascene, s#16140889.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, good winding indicator function, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates with some scattered pinpoint nicks and fine to micro-fine scratches, small spot of finish loss to main plate right of signature, small scratches adjacent balance jewel setting, minor oxide to regulator assembly and winding wheels; dial with some outer chapter hls, tiny nicks to winding indicator recess and some tiny adjacent hls, minor edge rub under bezel; excellent hands; case with extra lever set slot at 2, case shows medium wear, some nicks to pendant, no dents, reduced engine turning and engraving detail with areas of full loss, few tiny subtle spots of wear to brass to pendant, few strips of wear to brass within rear; slightly brassy bow pivots freely, crown shows medium wear; good glass crystal.
